Cathy Larqué (1974, Pau, France) est historienne de l’art diplômée de l’université Paris 1 Sorbonne. Elle est chef de projets et commissaire d’expositions indépendante.

Après avoir travaillé avec le responsable des expositions au Palais de Tokyo (Paris) — et notamment Tatiana Trouvé, Erwin Wurm, Wolfgang Tillmans —, elle est coordinatrice la Biennale internationale d’architecture, ArchiLab (Orléans) en 2003 et 2004. Elle intègre ensuite la galerie Dominique Fiat (Paris), puis est chef de projets au studio du designer Robert Stadler, et enfin à l'agence de graphisme berlinoise, onlab. Elle collabore avec cette dernière à la conception graphique et scénographique du Pavillon allemand à la Biennale d’architecture de Venise et de l’exposition du magazine ARCH+ à la Documenta de Kassel. En 2007, elle est responsable des expositions et de la collection au Musée d’art moderne de Saint-Etienne. Elle y organise notamment les expositions monographiques de Günter Brus, de Michelangelo Pistoletto et la rétrospective de la collection du Musée pour la célébration de son vingtième anniversaire. Elle coordonne de 2008 à 2009 le projet et le catalogue "From The Voice To The Hand" de l’artiste plasticien Melik Ohanian, qui consiste en un ensemble de 15 expositions se déployant dans plusieurs lieux culturels parisiens dont le Centre Pompidou, le FRAC Ile-de-France, l'Abbaye de Maubuisson, France Culture, la FIAC, ...

Ouverte à toutes formes prospectives alimentant l'énergie de l’art contemporain, elle inclut plusieurs disciplines dans ses propositions — art et architecture, philosophie et films d’artistes, art contemporain japonais — dans le but d’initier et d'élargir les champs de réflexion au delà de la fixité des domaines. Elle privilégie le renouvellement de dialogue sur la question de l’art actuel, de son évolution et de sa représentation. Elle y défend aussi les travaux de jeunes artistes qu’elle montre aux côtés de ceux d’artistes plus largement connus sur le plan international.

Cathy Larqué a récemment organisé les expositions "Telling Stories" à WUK-Kunsthalle Exnergasse à Vienne en février 2010 (avec les oeuvres de Adam Vackar, Bruce Conner, Christoph Draeger & Reynold Reynolds, Kon Trubkovitch et Melik Ohanian) et "Time Lags" à la Bund Deutscher Architekten Galerie à Berlin en juin 2010 (avec les oeuvres de Cyprien Gaillard, Alexandra Leykauf et Louidgi Beltrame).
Elle prépare actuellement une monographie sur l'agence d'architectes Eike Becker_Architekten.


Christelle Lecoeur (1975, Paris, France) est architecte. Elle a collaboré au sein d'agences d'architecture puis en tant que commissaire d'expositions pour le Pavillon de l'Arsenal (Paris). Elle a été coordinatrice d'ArchiLab (Orléans) de 2003 à 2005. Elle enseigne à l'Ecole d'architecture Paris-Malaquais et travaille actuellement pour le Caue 92 (Sceaux), la Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine et la DAPA (Ministère de la Culture et de la Communication).

 


Cathy Larqué (1974, Pau, France) is an art historian who graduated from the university of Paris 1 Sorbonne. She is an independent project manager and exhibition curator.

She worked with the chief curator at the Palais de Tokyo (Paris), notably on exhibitions by Tatiana Trouvé, Erwin Wurm and Wolfgang Tillmans, and coordinated on the Biennale Internationale d’Architecture, Archilab, in Orléans for the years 2003 and 2004. She went on to work at the Dominique Fiat gallery (Paris) and then became project manager at the studio of designer Robert Stadler and at the Berlin graphics agency, onlab. She worked with the latter on the graphic and scenographic concept of the German pavilion at the Venice Biennale of Architecture and the exhibition of the magazine ARCH+ at the Kassel Documenta. In 2007 she became chief curator at the Musée d’Art Moderne in Saint-Etienne and organised one-man shows for Günter Brus and Michelangelo Pistoletto and a retrospective of the museum’s own collection to celebrate its twentieth anniversary. During 2008 and 2009 she coordinated the project and the catalogue of “From the Voice to the Hand” by artist Melik Ohanian, which consisted of a collection of 15 exhibitions which took place in various cultural venues around Paris including the Centre Pompidou, the FRAC Ile-de-France, the Abbaye de Maubuisson, France Culture, FIAC...

Open to any prospective art form that breathes life into contemporary art she embraces several disciplines – art and architecture, philosophy and art films, Japanese contemporary art – with the aim of initiating and broadening horizons beyond the fixed limits of domains and encouraging renewed dialogue on the question of contemporary art, its evolution and its representation. She also encourages up-and-coming artists whose works she displays alongside those better known internationally.

Christelle Lecoeur (1975, Paris, France) is an architect. She collaborated with several architecture agencies then with the Pavillon de l'Arsenal (Paris). She worked as a Coordinator for ArchiLab, International Architecture Meetings (Orléans) from 2003 to 2005. She is a Graduate Assistant at Ecole d'Architecture Paris-Malaquais. She currently woks as an independent Exhibition Curator for Caue 92 (Sceaux), Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine (Paris) and DAPA (Ministry of Culture and Communication).
